Good Omens, by Neil Gaiman and Sir Terry Pratchett, has a great community. These lovely people hold conventions, write fan fiction and create lots of art inspired by the book and TV series.
If that’s you – or could be you – we’d like to help share your stuff. If you aren’t creative, but still love Good Omens, welcome to what we hope will become a treasure-trove of ineffable creativity.
If you don’t know what we’re talking about, you’re still very welcome. Check out our (spoiler-free) Primer below, and if that sounds like fun, please have a look around. You’d also enjoy the book and its superb TV serialisation starring Michael Sheen and David Tennant.
Incidentally, we’re launching early to coincide with IneffableCon 2. So if you’re one of our first visitors – thanks! We still have some stuff to tidy up, but we’ll get to that as soon as we can.
Good Omens – A Primer
Good Omens pokes fun at the Apocalypse. A very specific Apocalypse, predicted centuries ago by the “Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch.”
This complicates matters for the angels and demons tasked with arranging it. Not to mention other witches and the Army of the Witchfinder General. None of whom are quite what you may expect.
Because accurate prophecies or not, only one Plan ever goes according to plan.
…and that’s Ineffable.
